Florence-Darlington Technical College

Florence-Darlington Technical College has provided affordable, technical education to thousands of Pee Dee area students since 1963. FDTC currently enrolls more than 5,000 curriculum students and registers almost 30,000 continuing education students annually through the Southeastern Institute of Manufacturing and Technology.

The main campus consists of nine major buildings on 246 acres. FDTC operates satellite sites in Hartsville, Lake City (the Continuum), Mullins, Darlington County (Cosmetology Center), and in downtown Florence (Health Sciences Campus).

The role of Florence-Darlington Technical College is to offer one and two-year programs to a community of diverse needs. An associate degree, a diploma, or a certificate denoting satisfactory completion of work is awarded, depending upon the course of study chosen.
